Your tasks
- Flight and ground performance analyses.
- Perform aerodynamic analyses and provide data for flight mechanics, performance and loads.
- Perform analyses for determining the handling qualities and stability characteristics.
- Preparation and analysis of flight test data.
- Planning and support the execution of flight tests.
- Preparation of compliance documents related to flight physics.
- Support in all other flight physics fields like loads, aeroelasticity and weight and balance.
Our Requirements:
- Solid understanding of flight mechanics.
- Good programming skills required (VBA, Fortran, Python or equivalent).
- Capable of developing new computational tools.
- Experience with CFD analysis beneficial (OpenFOAM or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Good knowledge of all MS-Office software.
- Good communication and team working skills and an analytical and process oriented mindset.
- Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working.
- Flexible, prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation.
- Experience with writing compliance documents.
- Experience as CVE will be an advantage.
- Master of Science in aeronautical/aerospace engineering or equivalent university degree required.
- Working experience in the aeronautical industry (minimum 3 years) preferred.
