
Job Tasks & Coordination of development and certification tests on aircraft Responsibilities:
- Coordination of development and certification tests on aircraft
- Responsibilities: Development of a flight test program for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
- Development of flight test cards
- Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
- Preparation and conduction of ground and flight tests
- Data reduction and qualified real-time and post flight analysis
- Planning of aircraft modifications and overall schedules
- Preparation and conduction of onsite and offsite campaigns
Education / Experience:
The successful candidate shall have:
- a master degree in aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
- Working experience in the aeronautical industry in the field of flight testing (min. 5 years)
- Training course for flight test engineer CAT 1 i.a.w. Part 21 requirements at a recognized flight test training organization (normally a test pilot school) or
documented education and experience to comply with Part 21 LFTE
requirements is an advantage - Min. 100 hours of flight test experience is an advantage
- Experience with development and certification flight testing
- Experience with aircraft systems, power plant, avionics and/or flight physics and the respective flight testing would be desired
Required Skills:
- Good Knowledge of the English language
- Familiar with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
- Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working
- International mind-set
- Good communication skills and good team worker, having an analytical and
- process oriented mind-set
- Good knowledge of all MS-Office software
- Flexible worker. prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation
- Flight background is an advantage
